I hate my Macbook charger. It is bulky. You can’t wrap it up easily. If you do wrap it, you have to make sure you don’t put the smaller cable in a bind or it can cause the insulation near the block to split. It usually ended up in a wadded mess in my bag.
Last week while scrolling through either Facebook or Pinterest, I stumbled across this device that would help tame the monstrous cable. I had to order it.
That device was The Side Winder. Can I just say, “Wow!” I wish I had found this sooner. You pull the ends to unwind and use the handle at the top to twist and wind it up.
Here’s what I love about it:
1) It came with adapters to make sure the cable ends near the block are pulled through slots in the appropriate location.
2) Magnets and a clip hold it in place. The clip is strong, but the magnets provide additional security in keeping it closed.
3) No more wadded cords. It fits in a space of about 7in x 2in.
4) Winds and unwinds easily.
So if you’re like me and hate trying to tame your Macbook charger, you need to take a look at The Side Winder. It’s worth it!
